Angola’s ANDA Raises $1.2m to Scale Its Drive-to-Own Mobility Model. Angolan startup ANDA raised $1.2m from local fund BFA Asset Management to expand a drive-to-own model that helps motorcycle-taxi drivers own their vehicles.

Ghana’s Central Bank Halts MTN’s 0.75% Mobile Money-to-Bank Fee. The Bank of Ghana has suspended MTN’s planned 0.75% wallet-to-bank transfer fee before it took effect, an early test for the telco’s newly separated fintech unit.

South Africa’s AI Diagnostics Raises $5.2m for AI-Powered TB Screening. Cape Town’s AI Diagnostics raised R85m ($5.2m) to scale Ostium, an AI digital stethoscope that screens for tuberculosis from lung sounds, with no X-ray needed.

Nala Secures $50m Credit Line to Scale Its Stablecoin Payment Rails. Tanzanian-founded Nala has secured up to $50m from Liquidity via MUFG-backed Mars Growth Capital to expand its stablecoin cross-border payment infrastructure.
