Amara: Digital Africa Launches $58m Seed Fund for Overlooked Tech Markets. Digital Africa has launched the $58m Digital Africa Seed Fund to back pre-seed and seed startups in 20 underserved African markets, with tickets up to 2.3m dollars.

Kwame: OmniRetail Launches OmniOne to Wire Up West Africa’s FMCG Trade. B2B commerce firm OmniRetail has launched OmniOne, a platform connecting FMCG manufacturers, distributors and lenders across Nigeria, Ghana and Cote d’Ivoire.

Amara: Dodai Raises $13m Series A to Scale Electric Motorbikes in Ethiopia. Ethiopia’s Dodai has closed a $13m Series A, led by BII and Japanese investors, to scale locally assembled electric motorbikes and battery swapping in Addis Ababa.

Kwame: Rwanda Advances 12 Youth Agritech Startups in AYuTe Challenge. Rwanda has selected 12 youth-led agritech startups for the bootcamp stage of the AYuTe Africa Challenge from over 1,200 applicants, spotlighting young innovators.
